Laird Bailey transformed part of an underused and dilapidated recreation ground into a vibrant skatepark design in Cambridgeshire. Our landscape architects in Cambridgeshire collaborated with Burwell Parish Council and local stakeholders to create a play space that’s now a community cornerstone. Through community engagement, we delivered a landscape design that blends functionality with surrounding green infrastructure, serving residents across Cambridgeshire and aligning with our work in Wales and Gloucestershire.

The Burwell Skatepark project aimed to regenerate a neglected recreation ground into a dynamic play space. Our landscape planning process involved community engagement workshops with local youth and councillors to shape a design reflecting Burwell’s needs. The skatepark, integrated into a broader landscape management scheme, delivers and enhances local biodiversity and supports climate change adaptation through sustainable features.
